Danica Sachs, Associate Advisor

Danica joined Horst and Graben after pivoting to the finance world in 2024, following more than a decade as a curator, critic, and artist liaison in the art world.

Working in the arts in San Francisco and Portland, Danica realized that when money is involved, everyone benefits from a trusted advisor who can demystify finances, and help set goals. Her unique background equips her to help clients with unusual and illiquid assets, making sure they are part of financial plans.

Danica Sachs grew up in the Willamette Valley, and graduated from Whitman College with degrees in English and Art History. She also holds Masters degrees in both Arts Administration and in Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Outside of the office, Danica enjoys finding new recipes to cook at home, skiing on winter weekends, relaxing on the beach, and spending time outside with her family and labradoodle. She loves a good adventure and her favorite places she’s visited and lived are Vietnam, Cairo, Amsterdam, and Maui.
